our second stay in san isidro de el general was amazing, thanks to eya ecolodge. the breathtaking view, cozy room, and delicious food exceeded our expectations. esteban and his family were incredibly helpful and welcoming. a must-visit for birdwatching and nature lovers.

The lodge is absolutely amazing - the view will blow your mind! The decor is stunning and the patio is the perfect spot for birdwatching or relaxation. The family that runs the place is the highlight - they are incredibly kind and generous, and their passion for the community and nature is truly inspiring. The chef, Yuri, is fantastic - the meals here are the best we've ever had. Esteban is a knowledgeable guide who showed us incredible local bird species and took us to a finca for delicious coffee. If you can, definitely stay here for a couple of nights - you won't regret it.
